QINGDAO, China (AP) Australia has scored double gold in Olympic sailing with wins in both the men's and women's 470 class.

Nathan Wilmot and Malcolm Page won men's gold, placing first in a medal race that seemed more like a 28-minute victory lap because they had the medal clinched on overall points before the start.

Britain's Nick Rogers and Joe Glanfield took silver, and Nicolas Charbonnier of Olivier Bausset of France won bronze.

Elise Rechichi and Tessa Parkinson of Australia also had a such commanding lead going into the medal final that their ninth placing out of 10 boats was enough to secure gold.

The Dutch team of Marcelien De Koning and Lobke Berkhout clinched silver, with Brazil's Fernanda Oliveira and Isabel Swan took bronze.
