What's new in Sailing?

The 83^rd Bacardi Cup on Biscayne Bay competition is underway, running through March 13 in Miami. U.S. skipper Augie Diaz and crew Bruno Prada got the victory in the opener on Monday, and the fellow U.S. team of Jud Smith and Brian Faith took second.

The Portuguese team of Gustavo Lima and Rubrio Basillio rounded out the podium. Last year’s champions Peter Bromby and Magnus Liljedahl finished 52^nd, respectively. Races will continue through Saturday.
